‘It all begins with an idea.‘

Axelle Pleysier, interior designer, received her master's degree in interior architecture at the University of Antwerp in 2021. Immediately after completing my studies, I joined the team of architects Blockx, Peeters & Van Looveren located in Hoogstraten, where I could apply my skills to the realization of private homes and villas.

Through my academic years, I have come to realize the immense significance of immersing myself in literature studies, attending lectures, and exploring exhibitions to gather as much knowledge as possible.
To me, good design is the art of unlocking the full potential of any space. It involves purposeful decision-making coupled with a touch of boldness. As a designer, I possess a deep understanding of how interiors seamlessly come to life, bridging the gap between a space's architectural framework and the furnishings that define it.

In my creative process, I hold the belief that every detail matters. From the carefully curated color palette and thoughtfully selected materials to the finishing touches that complete the picture. Each element is important to result in a space that is both functionally, aesthetic and innovative.
